Working with Access Control

Access Control allows a user to create access policies for IBM^® Lotus™ ActiveInsight resources. The access policies specify who can access resources that include scorecards, objectives, and initiatives. You can also choose to delegate management of your scorecard to others.

Default access policies
IBM Lotus ActiveInsight provides default access policies which can be changed, or you can add your own.
Default user access policy
IBM Lotus ActiveInsight provides a default user access policy which can be changed, or you can add your own.
Access roles and rights
An access role specifies the tasks that a user who has been assigned to that role can perform. The access rights are the specific tasks for a role.
Managing access policies
An access policy specifies a resource and the access rights to that resource. You can create different access policies depending on the roles for a resource.
Managing user access policies
A user access policy specifies a resource, an access role, and the users who can access that resource. You can create different user access policies depending on the roles and users.
Delegating others to manage your scorecard
You can delegate management of your scorecard to others. Delegates can perform the same tasks as the scorecard owner.
