Default access policies

IBM® Lotus™ ActiveInsight provides default access policies which can be changed, or you can add your own.

Policies that are specified by the administrator are classified as inherited policies. Inherited policies cannot be deleted but can be changed. The following table describes the default access policies provided.

Note: Your administrator can change the default policies.
Table 1. Default access policies
Resource Access Start Level End Level Inherited Policy Description
Scorecard Viewer All levels above All levels below Yes Any user who is above or below the resource owner has viewer access role to the resource.
Objective, Initiative Viewer 2 -3 Yes Users who are two levels above or three levels below the resource owner have viewer access role to the resource.
Scorecard, Objective, Initiative Manager All levels above 1 Yes Any user who is above the resource owner has manager access role to the resource.
Scorecard, Objective, Initiative Owner 0 0 Yes Owner access role is set to the resource owner only.
Scorecard, Objective, Initiative Approver 1 1 Yes Only the user who is one level above the resource owner has approver access role to the resource.
Scorecard, Objective, Initiative Transferer All levels above 1 Yes Any user who is above the resource owner has transferer access role to the resource.

Column Name Description
Access The access role for the resource
Start Level The starting level with respect to the resource owner's level
End Level The ending level with respect to the resource owner's level
Inherited Policy A policy defined by the administrator
