Lotus ActiveInsight, Version 6.1

Default user access policy

IBM® Lotus™ ActiveInsight provides a default user access policy which can be changed, or you can add your own.

By default, one user access policy is provided.

Note: Your administrator can change the default policies.
Note: Access policies do not apply to group scorecards.

Policies that are specified by the administrator are classified as inherited policies. Inherited policies cannot be deleted but can be changed. The following table describes the default user access policy.

Table 1. Default user access policy
Permission User/User Group Access Active Inherited Policy Description
Grant wpsadmins Administrator Yes Yes Users who are in the wpsadmins group have administrator access to all scorecards

Table 2. Column heading descriptions
Column Name Description
Permission Specifies if access is allowed or denied
User/User Group Specifies the users of the user access policy
Access The access role for the resource
Active Specifies if the policy is used or inactive
Inherited Policy A policy defined by the system administrator
Note: Inherited user access policies that revoke access override policies that grant access. If you create a user access policy that grants access for which an inherited policy revokes access, your policy will be inactive until an administrator removes the revoke policy.
