Demoting your page

After you promote your page on the target server, you can demote the page so that the page is no longer visible on the target server. The page returns to a published state.

Perform the following steps to demote a page from the target server:
  1. If necessary, select the server where the promoted page resides by performing the following steps:
    1. Right click on Select a server.
    2. Click Select Server > servername.

      A message displays saying that the server was retrieved successfully.

    3. Click on the plus sign next to the server name to expand the server site tree.
  2. Right click on the promoted page and select Demote this page.

    A message displays saying that the page was successfully demoted.
