Configuring search in a clustered environment
To support Portal Search in a clustered environment, install and configure the search service remotely.
Using remote search service
You can configure the search portlets for local operation, or you can configure them for remote search service. Depending on your configuration, remote search service might have performance benefits by offloading and balancing system load.
Searching across Lotus Quickr servers
Set up search services for remote Lotus Quickr servers, then make the services available to Portal Search so that users can search across content on all the servers.
Migrating Portal Search from version 5.0 or 5.1 to 6.0 or 6.1
