Uninstalling a cluster on Windows

You can uninstall IBM^® WebSphere^® Portal Express only or both WebSphere Portal Express and IBM WebSphere Application Server using either the graphical user interface, console mode, or silent uninstallation program.

Prerequisites: Preparing prerequisite and corequisite software on Windows; Preparing for WebSphere Portal Express Server on Windows; Preparing the primary node on Windows

Perform the following tasks to uninstall WebSphere Portal Express:

Preparing to uninstalling on Windows
Before uninstalling IBM WebSphere Portal Express, you must prepare your system; for example, adding passwords to the properties files and keeping or discarding database information.
Uninstalling on Windows
If you have a complete and functional uninstallation program, you can uninstall IBM WebSphere Portal Express only or both WebSphere Portal Express and IBM WebSphere Application Server.
Uninstalling manually on Windows
If the uninstallation program is not present or an aborted installation did not create a complete and functional uninstallation program, you can manually uninstall IBM WebSphere Portal Express.
