Add a document to a place using drag and drop.
Add documents to a place by dragging and dropping the documents from
your local file system to a Lotus® Quickr™ place folder.
- In Windows® Explorer, navigate to the location of the
file on your local system.
- Make sure the Lotus Quickr connector for Microsoft® Windows Explorer window showing the
place is visible on the desktop.
- Click on the file you want to copy from your local system into
the place.
- Hold down the mouse button and drag the document from the local
system folder window to the place folder window.
- Release the mouse button when the document is positioned over the
place folder window.
- The files are copied from your local file system directly to the
place on the server.
You can drag and drop folders, as well as individual documents. A
folder dropped into a place folder is added as a subfolder. You can also multi-select
more than one folder or document, then drag and drop the multiple selection
into the place.
