Adding documents to a place using drag and drop

Add a document to a place using drag and drop.

Add documents to a place by dragging and dropping the documents from your local file system to a Lotus® Quickr™ place folder.
  1. In Windows® Explorer, navigate to the location of the file on your local system.
  2. Make sure the Lotus Quickr connector for Microsoft® Windows Explorer window showing the place is visible on the desktop.
  3. Click on the file you want to copy from your local system into the place.
  4. Hold down the mouse button and drag the document from the local system folder window to the place folder window.
  5. Release the mouse button when the document is positioned over the place folder window.
  6. The files are copied from your local file system directly to the place on the server.
You can drag and drop folders, as well as individual documents. A folder dropped into a place folder is added as a subfolder. You can also multi-select more than one folder or document, then drag and drop the multiple selection into the place.
