Copying and pasting links to documents

You can copy links to place documents and then paste them into applications that accept html links, such as e-mail messages and html pages.

To copy and paste a link to a document:
  1. In your places list, open the place that contains the document.
  2. Perform one of the following actions:
    • In Microsoft Windows Explorer, right-click the document and click Copy Link.
    • In IBM® Lotus® Sametime®, right-click the document and click Links > Copy Link to Clipboard.

  3. Open an e-mail message or html page in which to paste the link.
  4. Press CTRL+V.
