Connecting to Lotus Quickr from Lotus Sametime

You can work with documents in places on an IBM^® Lotus Quickr server right from IBM Lotus^® Sametime^®. For example, you can read or edit documents, add documents, and chat about documents. A document is a specific type of file, for example, a Microsoft^® Word file or Open Document Presentation file, that certain types of places on a Lotus Quickr server can contain.

• Example: editing a document and inviting team members to discuss the changes
  Mary edits a Microsoft Excel budget document and sends a chat invitation to her team members, Bill and Terry, inviting them to discuss it.
• Opening and closing your places list
  To work with IBM Lotus Quickr documents in places, click the Lotus Quickr title bar to open your places list. Click the title bar again to close the list.
• Using documents during Lotus Sametime collaboration
  Use IBM Lotus Sametime collaboration features to share documents in places with others.
