Context menus

Document context menus

Context menus are available for all types of documents in IBM® Lotus® Quickr, including regular posts, tasks, and calendar events, anywhere a document name appears in Lotus Quickr. Click the down arrow to the right of the document.
Table 1. Items in default document context menu
Item Action Access
View Shows the contents of the document. All users
Edit If not disabled, you can edit the contents. Users with edit access
Respond Compose a reply to the main topic. Author or higher access
New Revision Create a new version of the current topic Author or higher access
Check Out... Lock write access to the document by other place members so you can make edits to the document. Users with edit access
Copy Make a copy of the current document in another folder in the place. Author or higher access
Move Move the document to another folder in the place. Users with edit access
Delete Remove the document from its current folder Users with edit access
Approve/Reject If not disabled, approve or reject a document in a stage of workflow. Approvers
Notify Send email to place members. Users with edit access
Restrict Readers... Keep certain place groups and members from being able to read the item. Users with edit access
Add Authors... Allow other place members to edit the current document. Users with edit access
Add to Calendar Add the document as a link to a calendar entry. Users with edit access

Items in the Folder (in parent Folder view) context menu

The following items appear when a Manager clicks the down arrow beside a document:

Items in the Calendar entry context menu

The following items appear when you click the down arrow beside a Calendar entry:

Open Shows the contents of the calendar entry. All users
Edit If not disabled, you can edit the entry contents. Users with edit access
New Revision Create a new version of the current calendar event. Users with edit access
Check Out... Lock write access to the entry by other place members so you can make edits to the entry. Users with edit access
Copy Make a copy of the current entry in another folder in the place. Authors or higher access
Delete Remove the event from the calendar. Users with edit access

Items in the Task context menu

The following items appear when you click the down arrow beside a Task document:

Open Shows the specifics of the task. All users
Edit If not disabled, you can edit the task contents. Users with edit access
New Revision Create a new version of the current task. Users with edit access
Check Out... Lock write access to the task by other place members so you can make edits to the task. Users with edit access
Copy Make a copy of the current task in another folder in the place. Users with edit access
Delete Remove the task from its current folder Users with edit access
Restrict Readers... Keep certain place groups and members from being able to view the task. Users with edit access
Add Authors... Allow other place members to contribute content to the task. Users with edit access
Add to Calendar Add the task as a link to a calendar entry. Users with edit access
Complete Mark the task complete. Users with edit access
Notify Send email to place members. Users with edit access

People context menus

Change Status or Chat If Sametime integration is enabled, enables anyone to start an online chat and allows the person to change his or her availability to chat. All
Send email Send an email to the person, if an email address has been specified. All
View profile See the person's member information page with additional details for making contact with them. All
Edit profile Enables the profile owner or the place manager to update the profile. Manager+ or user
Change password Allows owner or place manager to change password for access to the place. (Local users only) Manager+ or user
Delete Allows only the place manager to rescind the person's place membership. Manager+
All access levels include Superuser, Manager, Author, Editor, and Reader.
